Nuo 2010 iki 2019 m. buvo partijos „Tvarka ir teisingumas“ narė, 2019–2023 m. priklausė partijai „Laisvė ir teisingumas“, o nuo 2023 m. yra susijusi su partija „Nemuno Aušra“. 2023–2024 m. ėjo Klaipėdos miesto savivaldybės mero pavaduotojos pareigas, o nuo 2024 m. lapkričio 14 d. yra Seimo narė 2024–2028 m. kadencijoje. Ji taip pat yra Seimo Sveikatos reikalų komiteto pirmininkė. 2025 m. svarstė kandiduoti į „Nemuno Aušros“ pirmininkes pareigas.
Lina Šukytė-Korsakė was born on 1970-11-17 in the Šilalė district of Lithuania.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health (2010), a Master’s degree in Nursing (2012), and a Master’s in Innovative Technologies Business Management (2020) at Klaipėda University.
In 1993, Lina Šukytė-Korsakė completed her studies at the Kaunas Higher Medical School (now Kaunas College), qualifying as a biomedical technologist.
She completed studies in public health and nursing and obtained a master’s degree.
After becoming a Member of Seimas in late 2024, Šukytė-Korsakė’s compensation shifted to the national legislature’s pay scale. In 2024, Lithuania passed a law adjusting parliamentary salaries; as a result, a rank-and-file Seimas member’s net monthly pay increased to roughly €3,781 (up from about €2,183 previously). As a committee chair, her salary is slightly higher due to a larger coefficient, but generally falls in the mid-€3,000s net per month range.

She was a lecturer at Klaipėda University from 2015 to 2020.
She served as the chief administrator of the private medical company UAB “Medikana” from 1999 to 2020.
She worked as a biomedical technologist at Klaipėda University Hospital for approximately three decades, from 1993 until 2023.
During her nearly 30-year healthcare career, Šukytė-Korsakė’s earnings were relatively modest. For instance, allied health professionals like biomedical technologists at Klaipėda University Hospital earn around €2,270 gross per month on average, and academic staff at Klaipėda University average roughly €2,500–€2,700 gross monthly. She has been a member of the Seimas (Parliament of Lithuania) since November 14, 2024, in the 2024–2028 legislative term.

She is the chairperson of the Klaipėda city branch of the “Nemuno Aušra” party.
She served as Deputy Mayor of Klaipėda City Municipality from 2023 to 2024.

In the October 2024 Seimas elections, representing the “Nemuno Aušra” party, Šukytė-Korsakė not only won a seat via the party’s national list but also contested the Baltijos single-member constituency in Klaipėda. She advanced to the runoff in that district, where she was narrowly defeated by Vytautas Grubliauskas (LSDP), earning about 43.7% of the vote in the second round (versus Grubliauskas’ 50.3%).
In the October 2024 Seimas elections, representing the “Nemuno Aušra” party, Šukytė-Korsakė not only won a seat via the party’s national list but also contested the Baltijos single-member constituency in Klaipėda. She advanced to the runoff in that district, where she was narrowly defeated by Vytautas Grubliauskas (LSDP), earning about 43.7% of the vote in the second round (versus Grubliauskas’ 50.3%).
In 2024, she was elected to the Seimas as a candidate on the “Nemuno Aušra” party list.
In the October 2020 Seimas elections, Šukytė-Korsakė again attempted to gain a parliamentary seat. Representing the newly formed Freedom and Justice (Laisvė ir teisingumas) party, she ran in Klaipėda’s Baltijos single-member constituency. She finished outside the top two contenders (who were the TS-LKD and LVŽS candidates in that district) and thus did not advance to the runoff. Nationally, the Freedom and Justice party also failed to secure any Seimas seats, as it did not meet the 5% vote threshold (garnering only around 2% of the vote).
She first ran for a seat on Klaipėda City Municipal Council in the 2019 local elections (as a candidate of the Order and Justice party) but was not elected. She later entered the council after the 2023 municipal elections and was appointed one of Klaipėda’s Vice Mayors that year.

In September 2025, Šukytė-Korsakė had to address a scandal in her party’s Klaipėda branch when a member (Irina Černikienė) posted an anti-Lithuanian message on Facebook urging for the country’s occupation. Šukytė-Korsakė condemned the statement as unacceptable and noted that the member resigned from “Nemuno Aušra” following the incident.
