Ji baigė visuomenės sveikatos ir slaugos mokslus, įgijo magistro laipsnį, dirbo slaugos srityje ir dėstė universitete. Nuo 2010 iki 2019 m. buvo partijos „Tvarka ir teisingumas“ narė, 2019–2023 m. priklausė partijai „Laisvė ir teisingumas“, o nuo 2023 m. yra susijusi su partija „Nemuno Aušra“. 2023–2024 m. ėjo Klaipėdos miesto savivaldybės mero pavaduotojos pareigas, o nuo 2024 m. lapkričio 14 d. yra Seimo narė 2024–2028 m. kadencijoje. Ji taip pat yra Seimo Sveikatos reikalų komiteto pirmininkė. 2025 m. svarstė kandiduoti į „Nemuno Aušros“ pirmininkes pareigas.

In the October 2024 Seimas elections, representing the “Nemuno Aušra” party, Šukytė-Korsakė not only won a seat via the party’s national list but also contested the Baltijos single-member constituency in Klaipėda. She advanced to the runoff in that district, where she was narrowly defeated by Vytautas Grubliauskas (LSDP), earning about 43.7% of the vote in the second round (versus Grubliauskas’ 50.3%).

In the October 2020 Seimas elections, Šukytė-Korsakė again attempted to gain a parliamentary seat. Representing the newly formed Freedom and Justice (Laisvė ir teisingumas) party, she ran in Klaipėda’s Baltijos single-member constituency. She finished outside the top two contenders (who were the TS-LKD and LVŽS candidates in that district) and thus did not advance to the runoff. Nationally, the Freedom and Justice party also failed to secure any Seimas seats, as it did not meet the 5% vote threshold (garnering only around 2% of the vote).

In September 2025, Šukytė-Korsakė had to address a scandal in her party’s Klaipėda branch when a member (Irina Černikienė) posted an anti-Lithuanian message on Facebook urging for the country’s occupation. Šukytė-Korsakė condemned the statement as unacceptable and noted that the member resigned from “Nemuno Aušra” following the incident.
„„Kaip aš nekenčiu tos prakeiktos Lietuvos, greičiau bet kas ją okupuotų!“ – štai tokią žinutę feisbuke parašė partijos narė. Portalas Lrytas.lt susisiekė su Seimo nare Lina Šukytė-Korsake, kuri yra ir „Nemuno aušros“ Klaipėdos skyriaus pirmininkė. „<...> tai nepateisinama“, – pabrėžė L. Šukytė-Korsakė. Pasak parlamentarės, neabejotinai bus svarstomas ir I. Černikienės likimas partijoje; politikė informavo, kad ši narė pati pateikė prašymą trauktis ir jau paliko partiją.“
