In 2016, Česlav Olševski was elected to the Seimas representing the Medininkai single-member constituency (No. 57).
„Išrinktas: Medininkų (Nr. 57) apygardoje“
In the 2016 Seimas elections, Olševski was not only AWPL–KŠS’s Medininkai single-seat candidate but also stood out as the highest-income candidate in that constituency, according to declared earnings at the time. His extensive local government career contributed to him having the largest official income among the Medininkai contenders.
„…jis yra ir didžiausias pajamas gaunantis kandidatas. (*“…he is also the highest-earning candidate.”*)“
Olševski has consistently won his Seimas seat via single-member districts in the Vilnius region rather than through the party list. He secured victory in the Medininkai constituency in 2016 and again (after re-election) in 2020, and was elected in the newly formed Vilniaus pietinė (Southern Vilnius) constituency in 2024.
„Išrinktas: Vilniaus pietinė (Nr. 11) apygardoje … Buvo išrinktas į 2020–2024 m. Seimą … Buvo išrinktas į 2016–2020 m. Seimą (*“Elected in: Vilnius Southern (No. 11) constituency … Was elected to the 2020–2024 Seimas … Was elected to the 2016–2020 Seimas.”*)“
In the 2016 Seimas elections, Česlav Olševski was one of only two AWPL–KŠS candidates to win a single-member constituency seat, securing victory in the Medininkai constituency after a second-round runoff.
„Išrinktas: Medininkų (Nr. 57) apygardoje (*“Elected in: Medininkai (No. 57) constituency”*)“
In the 2020 parliamentary elections, AWPL–KŠS failed to cross the 5% threshold and thus won no proportional seats, but Olševski was one of three party candidates who entered the 13th Seimas by winning a single-member district mandate.
„Prie Valstiečių ir žaliųjų sąjungos frakcijos prisijungė vienmandatininkai Rita Tamašunienė, Jaroslavas Narkevičius ir Česlavas Olševskis. (*“Three single-mandate members — R. Tamašunienė, J. Narkevičius and Č. Olševskis — joined the Farmers and Greens Union’s parliamentary group.”*)“
In the 2024 Seimas elections, running in the new Vilniaus pietinė (Southern Vilnius) constituency, Olševski won in the runoff with 52.78% of the vote, defeating his second-round opponent Agnė Bilotaitė (who received 43.99%).
„11. Vilniaus pietinė – Česlav OLŠEVSKI (Lietuvos lenkų rinkimų akcija-Krikščioniškų šeimų sąjunga) – 52,78 proc. (18,71 proc.); Agnė BILOTAITĖ (Tėvynės sąjunga-Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai) – 43,99 proc. (20,70 proc.)“
In the 2020 Seimas elections, Olševski secured re-election in the Medininkai single-member constituency by winning an outright majority in the first round – he received 9,532 votes (about 55.8% of valid ballots). This comfortably surpassed the 50% threshold, so no runoff was required (his closest rival, an LSDP candidate, garnered only ~2,547 votes, ~14.9%).
„Česlav OLŠEVSKI... 9532... 55,82%... Išrinktas: Medininkų (Nr. 57) apygardoje“

His asset declarations over the past decade indicate moderate wealth. He is not among the millionaire politicians – for context, some ministers saw their declared assets jump from as low as €14,000 to €72,000 in one year, whereas Olševski’s filings have shown steady, incremental growth with no such dramatic spikes or unexplained surges.
„…krašto apsaugos ministro Arvydo Anušausko deklaruoto turto vertė per metus nuo 14 tūkst. eurų pašoko iki 72 tūkst. eurų. (*“…the Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas’s declared assets increased from €14 thousand to €72 thousand in one year.”*)“
Olševski’s wife, Aleksandra, and their son, Łukasz, are part of his household but have no separate public business interests. Any assets or income belonging to the family are disclosed in his joint family property declarations, and no conflicts of interest involving his immediate relatives have been reported.
„Žmona Aleksandra, sūnus Lukaš (*“Wife Aleksandra, son Łukasz”*)“
Olševski’s official asset declarations indicate moderate wealth. He is not listed among Lithuania’s top wealthy politicians – for example, only six MPs appeared in the country’s 200 richest individuals list based on 2022 declarations, a group that did not include Olševski – reflecting that his assets are relatively modest (primarily a family home and savings).
„Šeši parlamentarai patenka į turtingiausių 200 Lietuvos asmenų sąrašą, rodo VMI... 2022 m. gyventojų turto deklaracijų duomenys. (*“Six members of Seimas rank among the 200 wealthiest persons in Lithuania, according to 2022 asset declarations data.”*)“
According to public transparency databases, Olševski’s declarations of private interests show no involvement in private business ventures or corporate shareholdings. He has not reported any significant gifts or outside income aside from his official salaries, indicating a low risk of conflicts of interest from personal financial activities.
