Nuo 2016 m. yra išrinkta į Lietuvos Seimą, kur yra Lietuvos valstiečių ir žaliųjų sąjungos narė. Seime laimėjo keletą svarbių vaidmenų, įskaitant Seimo Pirmininko pavaduotojos pareigas nuo 2025 m.
Aušrinė Norkienė was born on 12 January 1975.
She was born in Pagramantis, Tauragė District, Lithuania.
She speaks English and Russian.
She is married.
In 2012, she obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Kaunas University of Technology.
In 1998, she earned a Master’s degree in Family Pedagogy from Klaipėda University.
In 1996, she graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute (now VU Šiauliai Academy) with a diploma in primary school and music teaching.
She finished Tauragė First Secondary School in 1992, graduating with a silver medal (high honors).
In 2015–2016, she held the position of Deputy Mayor of Tauragė District Municipality.
Between 2010 and 2015, she was Deputy Director of the Administration of Tauragė District Municipality.
From 2008 to 2010, she worked as an Assistant to the Mayor of Tauragė District Municipality.
In 2007–2008, she served as an Adviser to the Mayor of Tauragė District Municipality.
From 2001 to 2007, she was a music teacher at Versmės Gymnasium in Tauragė, where she attained the qualification of a teacher-methodologist.
From 1997 to 2001, she worked as a music teacher at Tauragė Martyno Mažvydo Secondary School.
On 11 September 2025, Aušrinė Norkienė was elected as a Deputy Speaker of the Seimas.
On 14 November 2024, she was re-elected as the leader of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union’s parliamentary group in the Seimas.
After the 2024 elections, Aušrinė Norkienė continued to lead the LVŽS parliamentary faction, which formed a joint opposition group with the LLRA-Krikščioniškų šeimų sąjunga (Polish Election Action–Christian Families Alliance). The official name of this faction was changed to the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union and Christian Families Union parliamentary group.
She served as Chair of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union political group (parliamentary faction) in the Seimas during 2020–2024 (13th Seimas).
In November 2020, the Seimas did not approve Aušrinė Norkienė’s appointment as one of its Deputy Speakers. Despite the Speaker of the Seimas urging support for the opposition’s nominee, Norkienė failed to obtain the necessary votes, and her candidacy for the Deputy Speaker post was rejected by the governing majority at that time.
She has served as a Deputy Chair of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union party.
During the 2016–2020 Seimas term, she served as deputy head of the LVŽS parliamentary group.
Since 2015, she has been the Chair of the Tauragė district division of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union.
She has been a member of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LVŽS) since 2007.
She was the Chair of the Seimas Commission for Ethics and Procedures during the 2020–2024 parliamentary term.
She served as a member of the Seimas Commission for Marine and Fishery Affairs in the 2020–2024 term.
She was also a member of the Seimas Committee on Foreign Affairs in 2020–2021 (13th Seimas term).
She was a member of the Seimas Committee on Foreign Affairs from 2019 to 2020 (12th Seimas).
She served as a member of the Seimas Committee on Legal Affairs in 2018–2019.

She was again elected to the Seimas in 2024, this time through the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union’s multi-member list (as the Tauragė constituency seat was won by another candidate).
In the 2020 parliamentary elections, Norkienė did not win in the Tauragė single-member constituency (she failed to reach the runoff), but she was re-elected to the Seimas via the LVŽS national party list.
In the 2016 Seimas elections, Aušrinė Norkienė won the single-member Tauragė constituency (No. 34) in a runoff, defeating Social Democrat Darius Petrošius with roughly 54% of the vote.
She was first elected to the Seimas in 2016, winning the single-member Tauragė constituency.
As a member of the Seimas, her base monthly salary is approximately €4,000 before taxes (about €2,440 net), and since becoming a Deputy Speaker in 2025 her pay increased to roughly €4,315 gross per month (around €2,610 after tax).
Serving as Deputy Mayor of Tauragė District (2015–2016) came with a gross monthly pay roughly in the range of €3,300 to €4,500.
