Girskienė’s victory in the 2024 Seimas elections was notable as she was one of only two LVŽS candidates to win a single-member constituency seat in that election (most of her party’s MPs that term came from the proportional party list).

In the 2020 Seimas elections, Girskienė advanced to a runoff in the Marių single-member constituency (No. 21) after leading the first round with 23.12% of the vote (ahead of her closest opponent Kęstutis Navickas, who had 15.99%). She went on to win the seat in the second round, defeating Navickas to secure her first term in the Seimas.
