In 2022, the Seimas Ethics and Procedures Commission investigated whether Girskienė had improperly continued as chair of two apartment owners’ associations ("Bandužiai" and "Skruzdėlynas") after becoming an MP; the Commission concluded that she had not held any positions incompatible with her duties as a Seimas member.
