Laurynas Šedvydis yra Lietuvos istorikas, mokslų daktaras, lektorius ir politikas, nuo 2024 metų lapkričio 14 dienos einantis Seimo nario pareigas. Jis priklauso Lietuvos socialdemokratų partijai, kurioje yra Kauno skyriaus valdybos narys ir bendradarbiauja su „Solidarumo institutu“.
