Jo veikloje matomos vairavimo teisės pažeidimų problemos, patekę į viešumą 2025 m.
Darius Razmislevičius was born on 1980-11-15 in Šakiai, Lithuania.
He is married.
He later undertook studies in economics at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), specializing in insurance and banking. He began these graduate studies around 2011 and obtained his economics degree in 2013.
He earned a degree in sports physiology from Lithuanian Sports University in 2006 and in economics from Kaunas University of Technology in 2013.
Between 2004 and 2006, Razmislevičius pursued graduate studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education (Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademija) and earned a master’s degree in sports physiology and biology in 2006.
From 1999 to 2004, he studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education and earned a bachelor’s degree in sports education.
From 2015 to 2024, he served as Deputy Director of the Kaunas budgetary institution "Parkavimas Kaune" (Kaunas Parking).
From 2011 to 2015, he served as a senior specialist in the Kaunas City Municipality Administration’s Property Division.
He became a member of the Seimas (Parliament of Lithuania) on 2024-11-14, starting his 2024–2028 parliamentary term.
After rejoining the Kaunas City Council, Razmislevičius was selected in 2024 to serve as the Social Democratic faction leader (seniūnas) in the council. He held this position from May 2024 until he left the council in November 2024 upon becoming a Seimas member.
By 2021, Razmislevičius was serving as the chairman of the LSDP’s Kaunas City branch (Kauno miesto skyrius).
He was a member of the Kaunas City Municipal Council during 2015–2019 and again in 2023–2024.
Razmislevičius has been a member of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) since 2006.
He was a member of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Youth Union (LSDJS).
On 11 November 2025, he was appointed Deputy Chair of the Seimas European Affairs Committee.
From 10 December 2024 to 11 November 2025, Razmislevičius served as the chairman of the Seimas Commission for Parliamentary Oversight of Criminal Intelligence.
On 19 November 2024, he became a member of the Seimas Social Affairs and Labour Committee.
In the 2024 Seimas elections, Razmislevičius was listed as #39 on the LSDP’s national candidate list and won the Petrašiūnų–Gričiupio single-member constituency with about 53% of the vote, defeating incumbent TS-LKD MP Kazys Starkevičius.
In the 2024 parliamentary elections, he was nominated by the LSDP and was elected in the Petrašiūnų–Gričiupio (No. 17) single-member constituency.
In the 2019 Kaunas City Council election, the Social Democratic Party (LSDP) failed to win any seats (securing only about 3.3% of the vote), causing incumbent councilor Razmislevičius to lose his seat. In the 2023 municipal elections, LSDP improved its performance and regained representation in the Kaunas City Council, allowing Razmislevičius to return as a council member.
Razmislevičius also participated in the 2012 parliamentary elections as a candidate for the LSDP, though he did not win a seat in that election.
In August 2025, a Kaunas district court reduced Razmislevičius’s driving license suspension from 3 months to 1 month after he appealed a penalty for reckless driving.
As of 2025, he had been penalized 22 times for traffic violations (KET) since 2018.
On 20 March 2025, he joined a provisional parliamentary group for cooperation with the Lithuanian Youth Council.
On 17 December 2024, he joined a provisional parliamentary group “For the Future of Lithuanian Football.”
On 10 December 2024, he joined a provisional parliamentary group aimed at promoting civic participation and community awareness.
On 3 December 2024, he joined a provisional parliamentary group uniting municipalities along the Nemunas River.
He joined several parliamentary groups, including the Kaunas Region group and a group "Against Mass Immigration," in late 2024 as an MP.
His publicly declared assets have been modest. According to 2024 disclosures, Razmislevičius was neither among the eight new MPs who were millionaires nor among those with virtually no assets, placing him in the middle range in terms of wealth (the average newly elected MP declared about €280,000 of total assets and savings).
As of late 2024, the base monthly salary for a rank-and-file member of the Seimas (such as Razmislevičius) rose to roughly €3,781 net (take-home) under a new law on officials’ pay, excluding any additional stipends for tenure or positions.
As Deputy Director of the Kaunas biudžtinė įstaiga "Parkavimas Kaune" (2015–2024), his gross monthly salary was around €2,500 (approximate). In Q3 2022, the four top staff of "Parkavimas Kaune" (director and other leading positions) averaged €2,567 per month before taxes.
As a Kaunas City Municipality senior specialist (2011–2015), his earnings were modest; such “vyriausiasis specialistas” positions averaged about €2,536 gross per month in 2024, implying his salary at the time was roughly €1,500–€2,000 per month (estimated).
He speaks English and Russian, both at an advanced proficiency level.
He served as a member of the Kaunas City Youth Affairs Council.
