In the 2024 Seimas elections, Prajara advanced to the runoff in the Sūduvos pietinė single-member constituency with 22.25% of the vote in the first round, but he lost in the second round, receiving 42.76% of votes against Kęstutis Mažeika’s 53.5%. Nevertheless, he obtained a Seimas seat via the LSDP’s multi-member list (he was ranked 8th on the party list, which secured him a mandate).
In the October 2020 parliamentary elections, Tadas Prajara placed third in the Sūduvos pietinė single-member constituency, behind Kęstutis Mažeika (who led with about 25.6% of the vote) and Vaidas Šalaševičius (17.1%). Prajara thus did not advance to the runoff.
He was also a candidate in the 2020 Seimas elections (LSDP list position #36, Sūduvos pietinė single-member district)
